The Committee members stated that the Bill (Reg. No. 4400) was drafted to provide unbiased distribution of cases between the judges of general courts; give the individuals and legal entities the information about the state of case scrutiny; provide centralized storage of the texts of court resolutions, decrees and other procedural documents; prepare statistical data, etc.
To reach this aim, the Bill amends the Economic Procedural Code of Ukraine, introducing the automatic document management system in economic courts.
During the registration of documents, the automatic document management system will at random determine the judge or the board of judges to scrutinize the case, taking into account the number of cases scheduled for scrutiny. The cases shall be distributed with account for the court specialization.
Pursuant to the Bill, the issues relating to the automatic document management system shall be regulated by the Decree ratified by the State Court Administration of Ukraine.
